Jesse Waltz, P.E., is president, CEO and co-founder of KBH Business Management Systems (KBH), a software development company that designs products for construction contractors and related service industries. Jesse’s entrepreneurial instincts and passion for making his best better culminated in the development of Bizwiz®. His unrelenting emphasis on performance and quality remains the keystone of organizational success.
A Professional Engineer by trade, Jesse founded JES Foundation Repair with his wife Stella in 1993. He held several roles in multiple areas of the company while scaling it into a multi-million dollar enterprise, which currently has over 250 employees in three offices that serve the mid-Atlantic region. The knowledge Jesse gained on the ground level of the business gave him a front-row seat to the metrics most relevant to revenue and growth. While traveling across the country as a consultant, it became apparent that he needed real-time data about his company when he was away. It was during one such trip that he came up with the idea for Bizwiz, which was developed by KBH in 2007 and brought to market in 2009.
Prior to establishing JES and KBH, Jesse worked as director of engineering for a manufacturing company and served as construction manager for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the Virginia Military Institute and a Professional Engineering (P.E.) license from the Commonwealth of Virginia.
